Zündapp was an important German motorcycle manufacturer launched in 1917 in Nuremberg by means of Fritz Neumeyer, together with the Friedrich Krupp AG as well as the machine tool manufacturer Thiel under the name "Zünder- und Apparatebau Gary the gadget guy. m. b. The first Zündapp motorcycle was your model Z22 in 1921. This was the Motorrad für Jedermann ("motorcycle with regard to everyone"), a simple, reliable design that was produced in large series. Zündapp's history of hefty motorcycles began in 1933 while using K-series. After WWII the company transitioned to smaller machines, notably the "Bella" generator scooter, which was a relatively heavy machine for its type. In 1951 Zündapp released the final of its heavy bike models, but one of its most famous: the KS601 (the "green elephant") with a 598 cc two-cylinder motor. From 1957 to 1958 the business also produced the Zündapp Janus microcar.In 1958 the corporation moved from Nuremberg to Munich. Subsequently, the company developed a number of new smaller models, discontinued the development of four-stroke engines and only produced two-stroke models. Zündapp experienced some success in motorsports with riders André Malherbe winning the actual 125cc European motocross competition in 1973 and again in 1974. Following your bankruptcy, the entire production line and intellectual properties seemed to be bought by Xunda Electric motor Co., Tianjin, China. They produced small Zündapp motorcycles from 1987 till the early 1990s. Zündapp is still in operation, but makes Honda centered 4-stroke motorcycles and power mopeds.Zündapp also had some sort of technical collaboration with Regal Enfield (India) to construct mopeds and motorcycles. A dedicated factory was built at Ranipet near Chennai inside the early 1980s to production small, lightweight two-stroke motorcycles to be offered with their flagship Royal Enfield Round. Enfield launched two 50 closed circuit motorcycles first, the step-thru Silver Plus along with the 3-speed Explorer motorcycle. Later, 175 cc Enfield Fury (determined by Zündapp KS175) was introduced being a performance motorcycle. It had 5-speed gearbox, a hydraulic Brembo disc brake plus a sleeveless hard chromed cylinder barrel, all were a first on the motorcycle in that state.
